Bahillo: "Dialogue with the countryside is the central axis"

The new Secretary of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, Juan José Bahillo, spoke in favor of opening the link between the Government and the countryside and assured that the objective of his management is to generate channels of dialogue and consensus with the Table Liaison to ensure that producers can invest, increase the planted area and can develop based on trust between the sector and the State.

In radio statements, Bahillo remarked, in this sense, that “dialogue with the field is the central axis to generate predictability and better conditions for the sector.”

“Sergio Massa gave us the responsibility to build trust through dialogue and consensus to achieve development so that producers can have the peace of mind to invest, plant and harvest more, because that will result in improvement for the entire country,” he said. .

As a result of that, he stated: “We have to sit down at the table, present our public policies and advance together, since, in this way, it will be much more beneficial. There are no public policies without dialogue and consensus with the sectors involved”.

Regarding a close meeting with the agricultural entities, he assured: “The communication channels are already open, both the Minister of Economy, Sergio Massa, and I have held conversations with different leaders of the Liaison Table and we hope in the next few days to be able to meet to be able to continue dialoguing and advancing in the application of a program according to the needs of all”.

Likewise, Bahillo positively highlighted the synchronization between different areas of the Ministry by specifying: “Macro decisions are being made that point to the axes that we have as objectives, which are to give the producer predictability, confidence and support in decision-making, so that they tend to to investment, to increase the planted area”, he considered.
