In the early afternoon of Saturday, the police arrested the 44-year-old man who allegedly forced a vulnerable 54-year-old man to work by threatening him at his home on the vineyard hill in Pellerd.

The investigators also established that the 44-year-old man took the older man in for housing in the summer of 2020, then made him do various garden work and tasks around the house, and also prevented and controlled his free movement.

After his arrest, the 44-year-old man was produced and interrogated as a suspect. The police took him into custody and initiated his arrest. The Baranya County Police Headquarters is investigating him for committing the crime of human trafficking and forced labor, read the police on the side.
