According to the police, a Toyota driver (75) was driving on the B29 towards Stuttgart at around 5.45 p.m.

She left the main road at the Lorch-Ost exit. But because she was apparently blinded by the low sun, she crashed into the Mercedes station wagon of a 40-year-old who was waiting at a red light.

Both drivers suffered minor injuries as a result of the impact. “Two 71- and 41-year-old women and two 13- and 8-year-old boys were also slightly injured in the Mercedes,” the officials write.
