Frans Klein, the video director of the Dutch public broadcaster NPO, is temporarily resigning. The reason for this is the fuss around Matthijs van Nieuwkerk and his program The world goes on.
Klein resigns from his position pending the results of the investigation that the NPO is conducting into the working conditions at the BNNVARA program The world goes on. The NPO announced this in a statement on Tuesday. “To prevent any discussion about the independence of the investigation, Frans Klein has indicated that he will temporarily resign his position pending the outcome of the investigation.”
