with the original title victorious (with an emphasis on typography in Tori, the protagonist’s name), the series originally premiered in March 2010, running for four seasons. In the plot, a 16-year-old teenager (played by Victoria Justice), accidentally presents herself at Hollywood Arts, a school designed for people with some artistic talent. From that point on, she enrolls in the institution and meets some characters that will be part of her trajectory as a singer.

Created by Dan Schneider and aired in just one season, this series consists of a spin-off of Icarly and victorious, starring Sam Puckett (Jennette McCurdy) and Cat Valentine (Ariana Grande), two iconic characters from both productions. An unexpected meeting between the two happens on a certain day, causing an incredible friendship to blossom. From that point on, they share an apartment and experience great misfortunes.

Cosmo and Wanda are very charismatic characters, who manage to disguise themselves in practically any environment with their characteristic colors: pink and green. They are the fairy godparents of Timmy Turner, a boy who has to deal with his fickle parents, an uncaring nanny, a teacher obsessed with the supernatural and yet the school bully. With more than 150 episodes, the animated series was very successful on Nickelodeon and also on all other channels in which it was shown in Brazil.

7. Danny Phantom

Another drawing that also caught the public’s attention when it was originally shown in 2004 is Danny Phantom, which addresses the saga of this titular character. Turns out Danny could be an ordinary kid if he weren’t a hybrid being: half human, half ghost. When the narrative opens, he’s still trying to control his powers and deal with the eccentric way his family deals with supernatural issues.

6. Big Time Rush

Bringing Nickelodeon’s audience closer to the boy band world, Big Time Rush features James (James Maslow), Kendall (Kendall Schmidt), Logan (Logan Henderson) and Carlos (Carlos Pena Jr.), four athletes who are turned into music stars by Gustavo Rocque (played by Stephen Kramer Glickman). Gradually, they discover more about this world not as glamorous as it seemed.

5. Zoey 101

With four seasons, this series marked Nickelodeon’s history as the most expensive to be produced by the network. In the spotlight, Jamie Lynn Spears, younger sister of Britney Spears, gave life to Zoey Brooks, one of the first girls to study at PCA, a boarding school located in the state of California, which, previously, only admitted boys in its configuration.

4. Kenan & Kel

Kenan Rockmore (Kenan Thompson) and Kel Kimble (Kel Mitchell) are two friends who are almost always together, whether it’s happy times or stressful times. Set in Chicago, the duo complements each other in a fun way, given that each one has unique characteristics. In this way, many confusions are created and other characters appear to interact with them.

3. Rugrats: The Little Angels

In the early 1990s, a different animation was released on Nickelodeon. It was a narrative full of babies, who ended up getting up to various imaginative adventures and putting themselves at risk. And it has to be admitted that, in nine seasons, Tommy, Chuckie, the twins Phil and Lil and even the grown-up Angelica entertained the public in many ways.

two. Drake & Josh

With Drake Bell, Josh Peck, Nancy Sullivan, Jonathan Goldstein and Miranda Cosgrove in the main cast, it is one of the most fun series on the network and was launched in 2004, yielding 56 episodes divided into four seasons.

The plot bet on the fickle relationship of two very different half-brothers. While Drake was very popular and developing his talent in music, Josh was a geek with some socializing difficulties.

1. Icarly

And to close the list, perhaps one of the most famous series on Nickelodeon. Icarly premiered in 2007, guaranteeing seven seasons, four specials, a movie and a revival, which arrived on Paramount+ streaming in 2021 and already has a 2nd season on display.

The narrative was driven by something that was still on the rise on the internet: the culture of channels and programs made directly for this medium.

In general lines, Icarly consisted of a webshow, in which Carly (Miranda Cosgrove), Sam (Jennette McCurdy) and Freddie (Nathan Kress) could play with countless attractions and oddities, living fun adventures and dealing with eccentric characters.
