New digital technologies can act as “supporters” of other innovations. By providing almost unlimited computing power, quantum computing technology can enable the application of new technologies in various sectors, they wrote in their announcement to MTI, describing part of the study.

The growing amount of data enables the continuous optimization of artificial intelligence, human resources will be increasingly supplemented – in certain sectors replaced – by machines, intelligent robots and hybrids supported by artificial intelligence.

By 2030, artificial intelligence will be used to treat and prevent health problems through tools such as advanced predictive apps, virtual care assistants, and smart wearables.

There will be more and more intelligent systems in manufacturing between 2030 and 2040, which will be optimized for consumer product demand and produce products in a more cost-effective and less polluting way. By 2050, AI technology will read emotions to personalize individual customer experiences. The sensors will be able to identify facial expressions and sync with the customer’s other data sources using AI.

Transportation may be the first area in which machines can excel instead of humans

All industries are moving in the direction of automation – depending on the complexity of the work, robots either complement or replace humans. One of the first such areas, according to the study, is transportation, where autonomous vehicles (AVs) controlled by artificial intelligence will more easily replace car, taxi and van drivers. Based on forecasts, more than four million jobs will be lost due to the rapid transition, which will begin within five years.
