Canelo Álvarez defends himself after losing to Bivol: 'I think I didn't lose'

Saul Canelo Alvarez calmly took the defeat against Dmitry Bivolbut believes that the Russian did not widely outperform him.

“I feel very good, personally I don’t make any excuses. I think I did not lose the fight, he won me 4, 5 rounds maximum”, said Canelo Álvarez after the fight on Saturday night in Las Vegas.

“The last few rounds I got a little tired, but I feel good, I did things the way I should have done them. Maybe because of the weight I didn’t feel 100 percent.”

Canelo clarified that “this does not stay like this”, so he will surely seek a rematch against Bivol, although there is no date yet.
