Dead hit by a vehicle, a capybara has been at least two days in the central bed in the highlands of Avenida Afonso Pena, in Campo Grande. The situation caught the attention of a reader of the Campo Grande Newswho reported the case to the newsroom.

The witness said he saw the dead animal at the scene yesterday (11). The capybara had its head on the curb of the street, however, today when passing through the place again, the animal was already on the grass, after being dragged by some pedestrian.

In contact with the PMA (Environmental Military Police) the resident was informed that other people who passed by the place had already requested the recovery of the body. However, this is not a competence of the environmental police, but of Solurb, the concessionaire that manages the cleaning of the Capital.

The report forwarded the case to the company and awaits a response.
