Corinthians beat Red Bull Bragantino this Saturday afternoon (19) in the penultimate round of the first phase of the Paulista Women’s Championship. The alvinegra team faced the Bragança Paulista club outside their domains and returned home with a score scored by Vic Albuquerque.

In the 17th minute, in an open play on the right side, Diany took the lead at the entrance to the area, opened it on Millene, who sent a beautiful pass to Vic Albuquerque to correct a precise finish to the bottom of the goal. Packed with the goal, Corinthians grew in the match and made it impossible for Bragantino to react.

The result gives Timão an even bigger breath in the competition and takes the classification decision to the last round. To guarantee a place in the semifinals, it will be necessary to cheer for the stumbles of the teams in front of them and guarantee a triumph against the Taubaté team, currently placed ninth.

The next match will be next Wednesday, at 18:00 (from MS), at Fazendinha, under the command of Corinthians, which has a positive record at home. So far, under their own control, the alvinegras have three wins and two defeats, thus accumulating a 60% success rate.

Corinthians had the return of 100% of the athletes who served the Brazilian National Team in the friendlies against Canada and went to the field with a more complete team compared to the classic against Santos.
