The act in the city of La Plata
On Thursday, in the speech she gave at the ceremony held in the provincial capital, the Vice President called on “military for an Argentina” with a “sustainable economic and social model” that allows reissue the achievements made in the administrations from 2003 to 2015 and affirmed that it will be the people who will have to “decide if they want to return to being that Argentina that they once had”.
Fernández de Kirchner was the only speaker at the event, where a crowd celebrated the 50th anniversary of the return of Juan Perón to Argentina, in 1972, after 17 years of exile.
In front of a packed stadium, in which the motto was premiered “The Force of Hope” and who insistently chanted “Cristina President”, Fernández de Kirchner responded: “As the General said, everything in its measure and harmoniously.”
“The only thing that is new here is us. The ones who changed Argentina after 2001 are us,” he said in a section of his message, in which he recalled that during the Kirchner governments the workers reached “50% participation in the GDP” and the country had “the highest wages in dollars in Latin America”.
