10 years ago, the M23 took control of Goma, capital of North Kivu in the DRC. A decade later, these rebels are again at the gates of the city. 200,000 Congolese had to flee once again. The war also disrupted the Francophonie summit where tensions between Congolese and Rwandans arose. A new attempt at mediation is to begin in Nairobi under the leadership of the East African Community for Peace and former Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta.
