A drug dealer was arrested by the Federal Police with half a ton of marijuana this Thursday (12), on the way out to São Paulo, in Campo Grande. The drug left Rio Brilhante and would have been delivered to the Capital, had it not been for the intervention of the Federal Police.

Police officers were carrying out barriers on BR-163, when they were alerted by a driver who was approached about a silver Astra sedan vehicle, whose driver had made a return maneuver when he saw the police barrier.

The teams carried out searches in the vicinity and managed to locate, on a side road, hidden in a farming region, the vehicle that was being driven by a resident of Dourados. In the face of the act, the suspect admitted that he had been hired to deliver the drug in the Capital. Police officers also found an amateur radio in the car, normally used for communication with other scouting vehicles. However, prisoners and drugs were sent to the PF headquarters in Campo Grande.
