A 34-year-old man was beaten with iron bars by three men who were on two motorcycles early this Wednesday afternoon (11), in the Tiradentes neighborhood, in Campo Grande. The reason for the attacks is not yet known.

According to witnesses, the man ran through the streets of the neighborhood and was overtaken by the attackers on Travessa José Camillo Covas, where the beating began. Neighbors heard the screams and called the fire department.

Upon arriving at the scene, the military found the man conscious, but quite bloody and with injuries to his head, arm, leg and collarbone. The victim claimed not to know the perpetrators.

He informed the firefighters that he had consumed alcohol and used base paste moments before, and that despite having a history of theft, he was not doing anything wrong that could justify the aggressions.

The victim received first aid at the scene and was taken to the Tiradentes Regional Health Center. Those responsible for the attacks were not located.
