Residents and children enjoyed the day with a theater and cinema presentation in Jardim Batistão
This Saturday (19), the Nossa Energia project truck took LED light bulbs to be donated and exchanged for incandescent models and four refrigerators to be raffled off to Bairro Jardim Batistão, in addition to entertainment and fun for children, with cotton candy, popcorn and a theater performance and cinema.
The action, which will be attractive until 20:00, includes and renews customers in the Social Electricity Tariff register, during the day. The project is part of Energisa Mato Grosso do Sul’s Energy Efficiency Program, which complies with Aneel (National Electric Energy Agency) standards.
Among the children who enjoy the attractions, Sorhaya, aged 8, accompanied her mother, Simone da Silva, aged 31, who went to update her registration.
“My daughter is enjoying playing and eating cotton candy. Meanwhile, I signed up and got two LED light bulbs”, said Simone. Those who are not going to make or update their registration also get light bulbs. Each incandescent bulb includes four LEDs.
The project was welcome and important for the community, according to the president of the Associação de Moradores do Jardim Batistão, Claudio Ribeiro Cruz.
“In addition to the social fee, the day of leisure for the region is very good, because the community lacks events, especially children. Today, for example, the children are only involved in a futsal project on the association’s court. This itinerant unit brings a day of leisure”, commented Cláudio.
The president of the Tijuca/Verdes Mares Neighborhood Residents Association, Reginaldo Batista, said that residents of the region also went to participate in the action in Batistão.
“We are all here, because our association is under construction in the square, but all residents of the region must come and update their registration or register for the Social Tariff. It is a very important action for us”, said Reginaldo.
On Friday (18), the unit stayed until 4 pm at the Aracy Eudociak State School, in the Tijuca II neighborhood. There were also lectures, with the distribution of educational leaflets and comics for children and adults. It was also possible to check some physical experiments and basic notions about electrical energy. More than 200 light bulbs were distributed and 75 calls were made by the truck, since Wednesday (16).
