The Fiat Pulse Abarth will go on sale in Argentina in 2023. It will be, more precisely, about the closing of the first half of next year. It was confirmed by the Italian brand itself in the framework of the presentation of this vehicle for the Brazilian market, the country in which it is produced.

It will be equipped with the new 1.3-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with 180 horsepowerthe same one that the new Toro already offers in Argentina (in the pick up between 175 CV), combined with a six-speed automatic gearbox tuned for sportier performance.

It became known that the Fiat Pulse Abarth will be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in eight seconds “nailed” and reach a top speed of 214 kilometers per hourtwo figures that somehow justify its sporty appearance.

The consumption of this model will be 10 liters per 100 kilometers in the city and 8.1 liters per 100 kilometers on highways. According to Fiat, it has a specific tuning of the suspension, chassis and brakes. This means that it will not only have sporty looks and a turbocharged engine: in its bowels it will also be all aimed at the tracks.

The new version will have an exclusive designdistinguished by the black grille with the Abarth logo, the side emblems, the dual exhaust outlet, the format of the rear bumper, the red details for the front bumper and side mirrors, and the 17-inch alloy wheels.

Photos of the sporty Pulse show that will feature the Abarth logo in the center of the steering wheel, which in turn will have an exclusive design, and will stand out for its red stitching. That color, always related to sportiness, is also seen in the contours of the air conditioning outlets and in some buttons.

At the same time, it was revealed that the Pulse Abarth will have a 100 percent digital instrumental (indicates turbo pressure and G force), electronic parking brake, 10-inch central touch screen, leather upholstery, cruise control, six-speed automatic transmission and Auto Hold function.

How much will the Fiat Pulse Abarth cost?

The Pulse Abarth will be the top-of-the-range version of the compact SUV in Argentina. The price will be known at launch, but it will be more expensive than the already known variants:

  • Pulse Drive 1.3 automatic: $4,719,600
  • Pulse Impetus 1.0 automatic: $4,970,900
