A white Gol vehicle that was being driven by the former councilor and former deputy mayor of Fátima do Sul, José Caciano de Oliveira, known as “Teté”, resident of the Culturama district, was completely destroyed after catching fire on the BR highway -376. The fire occurred on the border between the municipalities of Vicentina and Fátima do Sul.

According to information on the Fátima em Dia website, the driver was following the highway towards the city of Fátima do Sul, when he would have heard an explosion inside the vehicle, that’s when he parked the car on the side of the road.

He managed to get out of the vehicle unharmed, but all belongings including Teté’s personal documents were consumed by the fire. It is not yet known what caused the explosion inside the vehicle.
