At the seventh round of the Imola Grand Prix on May 1, 1994, disaster struck. In the famous Tamburello corner, Senna flew off the track, straight into a concrete wall. A taste he wouldn’t survive. Senna turned 34.

Ayrton Senna is considered one of the best drivers in the history of Formula 1. The Brazilian was crowned world champion in 1988, 1990 and 1991. In addition, he also won 41 GPs in his (unfortunately too short) career.
