Truck driver Mohammad Faisal has performed a heroic deed in Quetta, Pakistan. When the man was emptying his tanker at a gas station, a large fire suddenly broke out. Despite the risk of a major explosion, Faisal got into the vehicle and drove several miles to escape the crowds. “I wanted to save as many people as possible at that time,” he told local media afterwards.
Only after three kilometers, away from the local population, did he stop the vehicle. Since then, Faisal has been regarded as a hero. His courageous action also earned him a reward and some words of thanks from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
