Last Saturday (18) there was an increase of 14.2% in diesel and 5.2% in gasoline. In the Capital, the liter of gasoline reached R$ 7.17 and the liter of diesel R$ 7.45.
In a statement, Petrobras explained that it tried to hold down prices, despite the pressure and volatility of the international market.
“This positioning allowed Petrobras to maintain stable LPG prices for up to 152 days; of diesel for up to 84 days; and gasoline for up to 99 days. This practice is not common to other suppliers operating in the Brazilian market who adjust their prices more frequently, nor the largest international companies that adjust their prices even daily”, says Petrobras.
