DATA FROM THE CENSUS IN BOLIVIA WILL BE ISSUED IN SEPTEMBER 2024

The Minister of Development Planning of Bolivia, Sergio Cusicanqui, reported that, in accordance with the agreement, the National Institute of Statistics (INE) will issue the official Census data in September 2024. According to the official, the data will be sent to the Tribunal Electoral Supreme (TSE), so that it is in charge of carrying out the distribution of parliamentary seats and other actions, towards the elections for 2025. SWEDEN FINDS REMAINS OF EXPLOSIVES IN NORD STREAM GAS PIPELINES

FIRE AT GAZA RESIDENTIAL BUILDING KILLS 21

More than 20 people were killed and multiple injured in the Gaza Strip after a residential building caught fire. According to government and medical sources from the enclave, the building, located in the Yabalia refugee camp, in the north of the Strip, would have caught fire accidentally, and the flames spread at high speed, due to the fact that the construction housed large amounts of of benzene, a highly flammable chemical. Salah Abu Laila, director of the Indonesian Gaza Hospital, reported that 21 people died in the fire, including seven children. (DW)
