Together for Change In recent weeks, its levels of internal conflict, in the public sphere, have decreased. After the tension between Patricia Bullrich and Horacio Rodríguez Larreta reached a maximum, and the UCR’s criticism of Mauricio Macri cracked the limits of coexistence, the PRO summit and the meeting of the National Table of the coalition opened a truce periodalthough with the unit still tested.

Meanwhile, the foundations of the main spaces that make up Together for Change, Think (PRO); Germany (UCR); Hannah Arendt (Civic Coalition) and Encuentro Federal (by Miguel Pichetto), accelerate the elaboration of the Consensus base program to become Government again in 2023in which the teams of all the presidential candidates of the coalition work.

In the last week, the main leaders of the four organizations held two meetings and took a “family photo.” Franco Moccia, president of To think; Agustin Campero, of the German; the “lilito” Fernando Sánchez, for the Hannah Arendtand Eduardo Mondino, of the Peronist federal meeting.

The cambiemite foundations prepare to have a document ready and agreed by December. From there, they would elevate it to the National Table of Together for Change, made up of the main referents of the coalition that must define its presentation. This initiative could give the space another chance to show some unity, which was badly hurt in the final months of anticipated campaigning.

As TN reported a few months ago, the process includes a considerable number of people. The 10 work tables (Economy, Education, Health, Justice and Security among others) account for more than forty leaders and specialists among the four foundations, also accompanied by technical teams. Fundación Pensar and Alem also have their own working groups in different provinces.

The process does not target candidateswho nevertheless participate in the discussions. Whoever ends up being elected from a probable national STEP of Together for Change should -they point to the four spaces- move within the margins of what was agreed

Although, privately, in some cases they lower the price of the work of the foundations, the main presidential elections of Together for Change (Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, Patricia Bullrich, Gerardo Morales) usually publicly propose the definition of a consensus program as a key to the possibility of reaching the PASO together, but above all to maintain unity in case of a win in the general elections, considering the experience of the Frente de Todos and the Government of Mauricio Macri.

“Below there was always less noise than there is above between the candidates. Regardless of who ends up winning, who will put their stamp, speed and style on it, the work that is done serves to build trust among all the teams. Because they are all There’s a world of difference compared to 2015. We are going to arrive with things well filed, knowing who is who, what they can contribute and with mutual trust. It is perhaps the main effect of this work”, Agustín Campero, from the Alem Foundation, told TN.

In the foundations they warned that the diagnosis of problems and priorities is shared: low growth; high tax pressure; strong inflation; high fiscal deficit; the cost of capital associated with the lack of financing; the stocks; subsidies to energy rates, and institutional deterioration. However, the main concernwhich has deepened in recent months, is the difficulty of opposition foundations to determine the severity of the economic crisis with which 2023 will end and the possible new Government will begin.

“The Argentina is devastated politically, economically and socially. We need a deep cultural change to resume the Argentina of production and work”, said Eduardo Mondino, from Encuentro Federal.
