Increases the amount of the subsidy in the ANSES Home Program: how much is it and how to process it

The Secretary of Energy ordered, through the Resolution 270/2022 the raise the subsidy to buy bottles of bottled gas, from which the National Social Security Administration (ANSES) will credit from now on to the beneficiaries $496.80 per bottle.

In this way, the price of 10 kg bottle will cost $522.20 plus taxes and provincial apartments. Meanwhile, that of 12 kg will have a value of $626.66 and that of 15 kg of $783.32. From the Government they communicated that “in all cases, the maximum reference prices do not include apartments and are before the Value Added Tax, and in the case of sale to the public, also before the Gross Income Tax and do not include service of home sale.”

The Secretary of Energy will extend until December 31 the Temporary Economic Assistance of 20% for producers, fractionators and distributors of bottled gas, as a mechanism to maintain an accessible price for those who use cylinders.

In that line, the Home Program guarantees access to bottles to almost 3 million homessoup kitchens, clubs and other neighborhood organizations.

Who is the Home Program for?

  • To the people who live in areas without natural gas service or that are not connected to the home gas distribution network.
  • To soup kitchens, picnic areas, neighborhood clubs, child care centers and community centers throughout the country without natural gas service and that use bottled liquefied gas.

What are the requirements to apply for the bottle?

You can request the Home Program to access bottles of 10, 12 and 15 kilograms of capacity if the following requirements are met:

  • Not having a natural gas service in the name of any member of the family group and have monthly income of up to 2 minimum vital and mobile wages.
  • In homes where a disabled family member with valid CUD the monthly income of the family group may be up to 3 minimum vital and mobile wages.
  • In households in La Pampa, Neuquén, Río Negro, Chubut, Santa Cruz, Tierra del Fuego or Partido de Patagones, income per month of the family group may be up to 2.8 minimum vital and mobile wagesor if a disabled family member lives with them, income of up to 4.2 minimum vital and mobile wages.

How to carry out the procedure?

  • Login to my ANSES and access with the Social Security Code. If you don’t have a password, you can create it on the spot.
  • Verify and upload the data.
  • In it menu, select Programs and Benefits > Request Social Rate. It is important not to forget to verify that personal data and family relationships are up to date.
  • request the Social Rate for Home Program. To do this, you must choose the Home Program option and follow the steps.
  • Once the request is finished, download the receipt. The entity will contact you to report the status of the process.
