Drug dealer was passing through the village when he was stopped and leaders called the DOF team

Indigenous people from Aldeia Teyiuke, in Caarapó, 274 kilometers from Campo Grande, intercepted a Fiat Strada vehicle loaded with marijuana in the early hours of Saturday (30). The dealer abandoned the car and fled on foot.

The driver was passing through the village when he was intercepted by indigenous leaders. He eventually abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot. Upon seeing the suspicious content, the residents then called the DOF (Department of Border Operations) team.

According to the Perfil News website, the police officers went to the village and found that the car was loaded with 20 bales of marijuana that weighed 392 kilos of the drug, valued at R$634,000. In addition, the vehicle had a record of theft in Rio de Janeiro.

The vehicle and the drug were seized and delivered to the Civil Police Station of Caarapó.
