Rescued by his wife on Saturday night (11), Alef Ojeda Rodrigues, 28, was shot dead by an unknown man. The crime took place in the city of Itaquiraí, 405 kilometers from Campo Grande. Initial information was that he would have been involved in an accident with two other cars.
According to the website Tá na Mídia Naviraí, Alef was killed around 6:30 pm. He was driving his vehicle along Mato Grosso Avenue when another, unidentified person on a red motorcycle approached and fired the shots.
Injured, the man lost control of the direction and ended up hitting the car in two other vehicles that were stopped in front of a tobacconist. Alef’s wife was warned that her husband had been involved in an accident and went to the scene.
The man was found lying inside the vehicle. With the help of a person who was in front of the tobacconist, Alef was placed in the passenger seat and taken to the Hospital São Francisco where a nurse found that the man was already dead.
The PM (Military Police) was triggered and the case was registered at the Civil Police Station of Itaquiraí as a simple homicide. At the scene of the shooting, 14 spent ammunition shells were found.
Alef was investigated for smuggling, drug trafficking, money laundering and involvement in organized crime.
