Adolfo Benjamín Lezcano Rojas, 38, survived a shooting on Wednesday night (11) in Amambay, a department whose capital is Pedro Juan Caballero, a Paraguayan city neighboring Ponta Porã, 313 kilometers from Campo Grande.
The victim was in front of a convenience store at the intersection of Natalicio Talavera and Nações Unidas streets, in Bairro General Díaz, when he was shot by a gunman who arrived at the scene on a motorcycle. The criminal fled afterwards and has not yet been located by the Paraguayan police.
Video taken shortly after the attack shows the injured man in the establishment as police arrive at the scene. Another record shows the sidewalk with the victim’s blood pool, being washed by employees. Rojas was rescued by the Fire Department and taken to the San Lucas private hospital in Pedro Juan Caballero.
