Two major fights broke out in Dresden yesterday, Saturday, with several injured and suspects.

According to the police, the first argument broke out around 5:15 p.m. at the skate park on Lingnerallee in the city center.

“Two groups of young people” beat each other with punches and pepper spray, it was said. Three men (20, 22, 25) were injured. One of the backpacks was stolen.

It was initially unclear why the groups attacked each other.

The second mass brawl happened around 8 p.m. at Hugo-Bürgner-Park in the Strehlen district.

According to the police, one group attacked another with brass knuckles and sticks. According to the first findings, five young people (16 to 19) were injured.

The officials were able to locate six suspects in the immediate vicinity: they were Syrians, Iraqis and Belarusians aged 15 to 17.

In this case, too, it was still unclear why the argument broke out. The officials are now investigating both matters for serious breaches of the peace.
