Minecraft: how to create a server in the game?

For those who want a more advanced Minecraft experience, there is the possibility to set up your own server, with several different archetypes and that allow you to play online or through a local network with other people. If you’re considering creating one but have no idea where to start, then check out this guide.

How to create a server in Minecraft?

Step 1: open the Minecraft and enter the Marketplace.

Step 2: At bar on the leftclick on the purple square to enter the menu realms. You have to pay to have your own server, but the free trial is available for 30 days. If you want to move on, click Start Free Trial.

Step 3: Tick ​​the box to agree with the Terms and conditions and then click Start the Free Trial again. A window will pop up showing the billing information, if everything is ok click on To sign or Sign up.

Step 4: Now, you will be able to choose whether you want to play alone or with friends. Once you’ve selected your option, your Realm – or server – will be ready for whatever modifications you want to add!

Step 5: If you started playing alone and want to invite your friends, just enter the Options menu and click Invite to Game. This will open a screen showing people who are already part of your server and still giving you the option to add members or Send Invitations.
