Hungary will do its utmost not to drift into the war in Ukraine, because the security of the Hungarian people is the most important thing for the Hungarian government, the Minister of Defense said in Brussels on Thursday after a two-day meeting of the defense ministers of NATO member states.
Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky told Hungarian journalists that
that the Hungarian army will not be part of the war in Ukraine is guaranteed by the Hungarian army.
As the Index wrote at the end of May, Viktor Orbán announced that large companies would be taxed in Hungary and that a public defense and defense fund would be established, which could provide a solution to the emerging economic crisis and finance, among other things, in the next years.
