Former German international Miroslav Klose is now head coach. After retiring as a footballer, the German had already worked as an assistant coach for Hansi Flick at Bayern Munich. But since he switched to the German national team, Klose has been out of work.

Now Klose chooses the Austrian Altach to launch his career as head coach. The Austrian club has been playing at the highest level for a number of years, although it has mainly camped in the lower regions.

“I’m looking forward to my new job,” said Klose. “I think I’ve found the right place here. I can’t wait to get to know the team, the club and the fans.”
