The Prime Minister of Haiti, ariel henry He said he had the feeling that those who killed President Jovenel Moïse on July 7, 2021, are running through the streets of the country with impunity.

Through his Twitter account, Henry recalled that President Moïse was assassinated a day after he appointed him as Prime Minister of the neighboring country.


“The President of the Republic who appointed me Prime Minister was hideously murdered the day after my appointment,” Henry wrote in his tweet.

He added: “I have a nasty feeling that those who conceived and financed this macabre plan are still running the streets and still escaping our judicial system.”

For the assassination, 19 former Colombian soldiers were arrested. In the Dominican Republic, Rodolphe Jaar, one of the suspects in the assassination of the Haitian president, was arrested and later extradited to the United States. While in Jamaica, former senator John Joel Joseph, suspected of the assassination of the Haitian president, was arrested.
