Homer is the central character of The Simpsons. She is the wife of Homer and mother of the three children of the marriage: Bart, Lisa and Maggie. She likes art, she paints very well, but her devotion to her family is her main driving force in her daily chores.

Bartholomew J. Simpson is the eldest of Homer and Marge’s children. The middle child of Marge and Homer. She is intelligent, dedicated, loving, responsible and with a strong personality. She does not shut up at all, she faces everyone, she is a feminist and a vegetarian. Lisa is one of the most complex and deep characters in the series. She plays the sax, likes to read, rides a pony and loves her Stacy Malibu doll.

The youngest daughter of the family, her character is really secondary. She doesn’t talk and spends the day sucking on her pacifier. She rarely gets into trouble but she has been the protagonist of one of the most important episodes of the series: Who killed Mr. Burns?

He is vile, corrupt, selfish and usually uses his power and money to do whatever comes to mind without thinking about the consequences or anyone other than himself.

Waylon Smithers is Burns’ loyal and sycophantic private secretary, as well as his confidant, adviser, chauffeur, butler and secret admirer.

He is the neighbor of the Simpson family. He was married to Maude – who died in the middle of the series – and is the father of two children, Rod and Todd, whom he now raises alone. He is hated and at the same time admired by Homer. A devout Christian, his life is guided and directed by the precepts of the Church that he attends every week. He is friendly, generous and compassionate.
