Irapuato, Guanajuato.- Two motorcyclists were injured after crashing into the windshield of a car in the Casimiro Liceaga Boulevard; one of them is reported to be in poor health.
The road mishap occurred around 10:20 p.m. at the traffic light intersection that connects Insurgentes Avenue with the Casimiro Liceaga Avenuea few meters from the Red Cross Delegation in Irapuato.
A report to 911 alerted about a serious road accident in which two motorcyclists had hit the windshield of a vehicle shortly before.
A few minutes later, paramedics arrived at the site aboard an ambulance from Red Cross, who valued the two motorcyclists. One of them, who had more serious injuries, was taken to a clinic where he was reported to be in poor health.
Unofficial versions revealed that the injured motorcyclists had passed the red light when driving on the Casimiro Liceaga avenue, colliding with the motorist who was coming down Insurgentes Avenue.
Despite the spectacular event, the motorist and only crew member of this unit was unharmed.
Municipal Traffic Agentsarrived to become aware of the accident, insure the vehicles involved and delimit the competent responsibilities of the drivers.
