Two men from Mato Grosso do Sul, aged 41 and 39, were arrested late yesterday afternoon (29), in BR 153, urban area of ​​Goiânia, with a truck loaded with 4 tons of marijuana.

The vehicle, with Campo Grande plates, was approached at kilometer 496 of the highway in a joint action carried out by the PRF (Federal Highway Police) and the Military Police of Goiás.

During the approach, the duo confirmed to the police that they loaded the truck in Ponta-Porã and would continue to Goiás. They would receive R$ 20,000 each for transportation. The shipment totaled 4 tons and valued at R$ 9 million.

The men were arrested and delivered along with the truck to the Civil Police in Goiânia.
