Vehicles already use new access access between Vilas Boas and Tiradentes neighborhoods (Cleber Gellio)

While the reorganization of traffic on Avenida Três Barras is not carried out due to the constant bidding processes, the Municipality of Campo Grande has been acting with palliative measures to relieve traffic in the region.

The actions are mainly concentrated in the section close to the roundabout of José Nogueira Vieira and Marquês de Lavradio avenues. One of them is a new access to Bairro Tiradentes, extending from Rua Fernão Dias to Rua Cayova. The stretch, at the intersection of Fernão Dias and Três Barras Avenue, is practically ready, with asphalt and horizontal and vertical signaling already completed.

The new road is already released, however, those who pass through the place must pay attention, as the installation of the traffic lights still needs to be completed within 15 days.

According to Agetran (Municipal Transport and Traffic Agency), the traffic light network will be in three stages. Who travels on Av.Três Barras towards Av. Eduardo Elias Zahran will be able to convert both to the right and to the left. For those coming from Zahran towards the roundabout, you will not be able to turn left, only right.

The alternative route allows the driver who is on Fernão Dias to reach Cayova, continuing on to Eduardo Elias Zharan or the neighborhood, without facing the inconvenience of peak hours at Três Barras.

In the opposite direction, neighborhood/center, the driver who is traveling along Avenida José Nogueira Vieira, for example, can enter Rua Final, then Marquês de Lavradio and Cayova.

Another stretch that will receive intervention is Rua Domingos Jorge Velho, which will be a one-way street. Coming from Bairro Vilas Boas and heading to Três Barras, on the last block, turn right onto Manoel da Nóbrega and then left onto Miguel Sutil.

Today, those who pass by the place need to be patient, since the waiting time to access Três Barras is high. If you want to make the conversion foreseen in the project, you will have to face land, since the roads will receive drainage and asphalt, foreseen in investments with the participation of the State Government.
