Feeling fear is absolutely normal and, without exaggeration, it is possible to say that without it we would hardly be here. It is a tool that makes us aware of dangerous situations, which helps us to survive and adapt.

There are several situations that can serve as examples of this, such as someone who does not know how to swim being afraid of pools or deeper areas of the sea.

But if fear is natural and, in some points, positive, the same cannot be said of phobias.
