De Corte has been technical director of OH Leuven since July 2016, culminating in the promotion to the Jupiler Pro League. CEO Peter Willems is provisionally taking the lead in preparation for the upcoming season, in support of coach Marc Brys. Leuven will, with immediate effect, be looking for reinforcements for the sports department.
Midfielder Yannick Aguemon and attacker Kaveh Rezaei are said to be part of the squad. Their expiring contracts are not renewed.
Aguemon played for the club for five years. In 2017 he made the switch from Union and especially in 1B the Frenchman was of great value to OH Leuven. In the past two seasons at the highest level, he played only nine times, partly due to injuries.
Rezaei signed a one-season contract last summer, with an option for an additional season. Leuven does not consider that option. The Iranian international defended the colors of OH Leuven twelve times. A shin fracture ended the striker’s season prematurely. Rezaei provided one assist, but failed to score.
