On the B59 between Pulheim and Cologne yesterday, Tuesday, a 60-year-old rolled over with her Fiat 500 and had to be freed from the car.

At around 7:16 p.m., passers-by alerted the car that was lying on its roof and told the fire brigade that there was still a person in the vehicle.

After arriving at the scene of the accident, the fire brigade who rushed to help found that the woman was not trapped and could not get out of her car on her own.

With great care and steady hands, the emergency services freed the driver and handed her over to an emergency doctor who was there, who then transported her to the hospital.

In the meantime, the firefighters took care of the leaked supplies on the street and ensured fire safety.

It has not yet been fully clarified how the accident could have happened. However, the police assume that the woman skidded in a lane narrowing, touched the guardrail and rolled over.

After about three quarters of an hour, the mission was over for everyone involved. The B59 was completely blocked for the entire duration of the operation.
