Governor delivered renovation of schools, sports arena, vehicle and Mais Social cards

The governor of Mato Grosso do Sul, Reinaldo Azambuja (PSDB), authorized this Saturday (30) infrastructure works totaling R$ 3.6 million in Caracol, a city in the southern region 385 km from Campo Grande. The municipality completes 57 years of political-administrative emancipation on Sunday (1st).

The resources are owned by the State and will be used in two paving fronts of 10 streets and one avenue. The first will include Avenida Getúlio Vargas and Rua Capitão Ernesto Leite, Teodoro Rodrigues, Ramão Fernães, João Martins Leite, Alan Kardec, Rui Barbosa and São Jorge. The second, the streets Capitão Ernesto Leite, Teodoro Rodrigues, Ramão Fernães, Ponta Porã, Princesa Isabel and Caido Mariano.

At Tatersal Moedir Godoy da Silva, Reinaldo signed documents authorizing the opening of bids for the two works. “With this partnership, we are going to pave 100% of the city of Caracol. This is an old dream. We built a partnership here to serve the population. It has asphalt, but it also has a sports court, health work, family farming equipment”, highlighted the governor.

In addition to authorizing new investments in infrastructure, Reinaldo Azambuja signed an agreement with Pró-Desenvolve (State Pro-Economic Development Fund) in the amount of R$ 733,000 for the construction of the Producer’s House in the Alto Caracol district. The space will have an area of ​​189.39 square meters, containing six boxes for selling products, three bathrooms for collective use, external paving and urbanization.

Deliveries – Also in commemoration of Caracol’s birthday, the governor delivered important investments in the city: the general renovation and expansion of the Inácio Silvestre Monteiro Polo Rural Municipal School; the sports arena of the “MS Bom de Bola” program, for society soccer and 3×3 basketball; a vehicle for the Military Police; and cards from the “More Social” program for needy families in the city.

Installed in the Alto Caracol district, the Inácio Silvestre Monteiro Polo school received R$ 2.7 million in investments. The work is part of the “Government Present” program and benefits more than 160 students. The building underwent a general renovation, adapting to the current regulations for fire and panic protection, protection against atmospheric discharges and sanitary surveillance, in addition to the expansion of the kitchen, secretary, director’s room and restrooms.

The sports arena received an investment of R$ 404 thousand and was installed inside the Harnet Vargas Municipal Stadium. The space is already being used for sports in the city.
