These condiments turned it into a party historicalto the point that in the future the intention is for it to be part of the official calendar of the Wine harvest Festival in Mendoza.
The Gabriela Mistral Theater (Located in the O’Higgins Parkfrom Ciudad) was the setting for the first edition massive of this show, organized by different institutions that provide support, education and integration to People with disabilities. “Mauricio Pereira was the screenwriter. He is a writer who is part of the Thadi and who likes to write, do poems. He was the mentor of all couplets of the voiceover of ‘Harvest with the five senses’. The presentation focused on how the senses in the harvests and it has to do with the fact that the boys of the day centers They work exactly with sensory. That is why the idea was to show all that; the food tastes typical Argentine, the touch when touching the clusters”, summed up the director of the work, Andres Garbinwho is also responsible for the Folkloric Dance workshop at the Thadi Institute.
a historic party
The Inclusive Harvest was born in 2019as an initiative precisely from the workshop of Thadi Folk Dance (and that is coordinated by Garbín). At that time it was an initiative that already aimed at inclusionbut that simply remained within the institution located in Carrodilla. “It was born as an act in which they participated 50 boys and between 100 and 200 parents”, recalled the person in charge of the staging this Friday.
already in 2020 the call took greater force and they were 400 boys and adults from the educational center and the day center who participated in the Inclusive Harvest. “It was crazy!”, He limited and recalled with amazement the coordinator of the party since its inception. On 2021in full coronavirus pandemicthe celebration changed to virtuality and was televised by Señal U.
“Last year it was called ‘Postcards of a magical encounter’ and the boys worked from their houseswith photos and videos. But this year we wanted to take advantage of the return of the face-to-face of people to the Central Harvest Festival and we started working from Thadi, together with the Mendoza Inclusion Networkto do it On-site Inclusive Harvest as well. That was how we were able to coordinate and count on the support of the Municipality of the City of Mendoza and of Ministry of Tourism and Culture of Mendoza”, he added.
The first face-to-face and massive Inclusive Harvest
The staging of “Harvest with the five senses”which began around 8 p.m. yesterday and lasted for almost 75 minutesmark a historical landmark for the Inclusive Harvest. And it is that not only the celebration was opened to the general public -and brought together more than 1,000 people-, but had the participation of 13 casts of different educational institutions who work with children and adults with disability. To the 199 artists on stage were added -in addition- the therapists, teachers and companions.

“It came out very round, everything as we had planned! The truth is that she had a beautiful repercussion, with the presence of politicians and queens from all departments. The main objective, and which was achieved, was to capitalize on the artistic potential of children with disabilities and that everyone can be included, and that they can develop. We put together a nice mess!” Garbín highlighted with simplicity, humility and good humor. “It is part of this new paradigm in which they are working very hard now, and that is that the guys get out of institutions to be included and not continue in a closed circuit that takes them from his house to the institute and from the institute to his house“, full.
Being a inclusive celebration is that, precisely, they participated in the launch other artists. “In addition to the artists from the casts of each institute, other two groups. One of them was the Artistic School of Luján de Cuyo (directed by Laura White) -which added to 7 artists professionals of dance-, while there was also a inclusive dance ensemble, with artists from other groups. This was what generated a true inclusion on stage”, highlighted the director of the party.
Furthermore, considering that the Thadi meets 60 years in 2022 -it was the first institution with containment for children with disabilities in Mendoza-, the party had a tribute painting precisely on this date.
