Some demonstrators are gathering at the head of Ponta Porã Airport and are trying to prevent vehicles from passing through the area. The mobilization began on the afternoon of this Tuesday (22).
According to information, they are farmers in the region, who have banned one lane of the road, they have put tires on it and some points of flames can be seen on the lane.
The Military Police and the Municipal Civil Guard at the border (GCMFron) were called to the scene, preventing the protesters from completely closing the road.
According to Marcelino Nunes de Oliveira, secretary of public security for Ponta Porã, the protesters even have a chemical toilet for their needs.
There is no information on how long the protesters who do not accept the polls’ decision intend to stay in place, but the situation is being closely monitored by local security agents.
