Paris – A luxury boutique in central Paris has once again been the victim of a robbery.
Four hooded people, at least one of whom was armed with an assault rifle, robbed a Chanel watch and jewelry store near Place Vendôme in the heart of the French capital on Thursday afternoon.
According to reports from eyewitnesses and the police, the perpetrators acted with extreme cold blood. The value of their booty was initially unclear.
A neighborhood worker filmed the robbery and then posted the video online. It shows three people wearing helmets and balaclavas exiting the Chanel store while a fourth person waits on a black motorcycle with an assault rifle slung over his shoulder. All four then flee on a motorcycle and a black scooter.

The four robbers apparently took their time before escaping. The man who was on guard with the assault rifle was “very calm”, reported the employee of a nearby restaurant. “I photographed his motorcycle, he saw me.”
He was very calm and almost carefree. “People were filming opposite, he never pulled out his Kalashnikov to scare them off or scare them.”
The saleswoman (26) of a clothing store described how she first saw the man with the Kalashnikov on the motorcycle. Two minutes later, three other men with large black bags came out of the Chanel store. “They also had automatic weapons” and “went away very quickly”.
A colleague of the 26-year-old reported that they immediately called the police after warning a customer. However, the officials did not believe them. “We had to call back to get them to take us seriously and take action.”
By the time the police officers arrived, “the guys were definitely out of Paris.” According to the police, there were no injuries in the attack.
Women’s screams probably put robbers to flight twice
In Paris, luxury shops are robbed again and again. In July last year, for example, a man attacked the Chaumet jeweler near the famous Champs-Elysées.
He and his accomplice were caught the next day and most of the loot worth millions was seized.
