“I am already in Romefull of enthusiasm, for my meetings in Vatican City, with His Holiness, the Pope Franciscoand the Secretary of State of the Holy See, Cardinal Pietro Parolin,” Peña wrote in a tweet.
The lieutenant governor was received by the ambassador of the Dominican Republic in Italy, Tony RafulY Dolores CedenoMinister Counselor of the Dominican Republic to the Holy See.
Likewise, also for mario arvelo ambassador and permanent representative of the Dominican Republic to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the table of the Committee on World Food Security.
Earlier, he held a meeting with Raful in which they discussed the interest that the country arouses among Italian investors.
“In this meeting, we address other issues related to the cultural wealth of Italythe strengthening of the historical relations that unite both countries and the valuable contributions made by the Dominican community in this nation”, he expressed.
