Ingredients (makes four)
- 6 masses for cake.
- 350g ricotta cheese or cottage cheese
- 1 egg.
- 60g Parmesan cheese grated.
- 1 tsp of paprika flakes.
- 2 teeth of garlic.
- 8-10 sprigs of thyme cool.
- Salt to taste.
- 30g of butter.
- 8 tomatoes.

- Elaboration: 15 minutes.
- Cooking: 20 minutes.
In a deep container we must mix the ricotta with the egg; later add half grated Parmesan cheese (save the other half for the base); after add the two cloves of garlic peeled and grated; then the leaves of the eight branches of thyme and finally the epaprika flakes and salt to taste. remember stir well until you generate a good pasta that it turns out homogeneous.
Then we must prepare the base of the cake in an oven tray. preparation must be done spreading it with butterwhich will give it flavor and so that don’t stick. Place the first sheet of pie dough, brush it with butter melted all over the surface and we sprinkle with a bit of grated Parmesan cheese that we had left for this part. Then we put a second sheet of doughspread it with butter and sprinkle it with cheese again. Must repeat this operation until you finish all the sheets of dough.
Next, we spread the cheese paste on top, being careful not to go to extremes. we cover it with sliced tomatoes all over the surface. And then we cook in the oven, having previously preheated it to 200º C, approximately, during 20 minutesor until the dough acquires a gold tone over its entire surface.
After remove and sprinkle with the remaining thyme leaves Y a little more parmesan cheese grated that you have left over. Finally, we serve at the table.
