Resident Evil 2, 3 and 7: see the comparison of the new generation patches

When released to the previous generation, Resident Evil 7: Biohazard and the remakes of Resident Evil 2 and resident evil 3 already presented very interesting visuals, mainly in the case of the reimaginations of the second and third titles of the series, which brought the adventures idealized in 1998 and 1999 to a more modern light.

And with the capcom releasing patches for the new generation of the three games, the YouTube channel ElAnalistadeBits created a video comparing all available versions of the games, showing details like graphical enhancements and loading times on each platform. Check it out below:

With a greater focus on resolution, the update brings temporal reconstruction across all current platforms, with the performance mode ensuring 2160p for the PS5 and Xbox Series X, and 1440p for the Xbox Series S, hitting 120fps in RE2 Remakebut with some moments of frame rate drops in Resident Evil 3 Remake.

O ray tracing mode improves shadows, ambient light and reflection in the three games, bringing even more realism to survival horrors, but at times, such as in water environments, the results may not be as good as expected, and it still has instability to maintain 60fps on consoles , especially in Resident Evil 2 Remake.

In addition, the reload time for the new generation is 30 times faster, with the game loading in less than 2 seconds on PlayStation 5 and PRAÇAand hitting a little more than that on the Series X|S.
