Crews of theBM-30 Smerch” attack military infrastructure facilities and logistical centers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, located in the rear of the enemy’s defensive formations.
The combat work of the MLRS takes several minutes: obtaining coordinates, taking a firing position, orientation, saving and changing position.
The flight range and low coefficient of deflection of the 300 mm shells make it possible to destroy ammunition storage bases, equipment staging areas and isolate reserve units from the main forces.
