During the games of the Brazilian Football Team in the World Cup, in Qatar, municipal schools, including those for kindergarten, will not have classes in the afternoon and evening periods and students will do non-face-to-face activities in Campo Grande.

The special opening hours will be next Thursday (24th), on November 28th and December 2nd. According to Semed (Municipal Secretary of Education), in the case of elementary schools, students in the morning shift will normally be dismissed at 11 am.

Students in the afternoon and evening periods will be exempt from face-to-face classes. Students in full-time schools will be dismissed at 11:00 am. For students who would be in regular class hours, non-face-to-face activities will be forwarded.

In the EMEIs (Municipal Schools of Early Childhood Education) students in groups 1, 2 and 3, full-time, will be dismissed at 11 am.

Groups 4 and 5, in the afternoon, will be exempt from face-to-face classes, with non-face-to-face activities being forwarded. Students in groups 4 and 5, in the morning, will have classes as usual.

Facultative point – The mayor of Campo Grande, Adriane Lopes (Patriota), decreed an optional point for the servers on the days when there are matches of the Brazilian National Team in the World Cup, always starting one hour before the matches, except for essential service units and schools. The decision to release students and pass non-face-to-face activities, however, was released by Semed, then.

Health Centers – Sesau (Municipal Health Secretariat), reported that health units normally open at game times in Brazil.

The daily working hours of the servers will be normal, which includes the administrative, UBSs (Basic Health Units), UPAs (Emergency Care Unit) and all other services of the SUS (Unified Health System).

The closure of health units and services outside those provided for food and rest established in the legislation will not be authorized, according to resolution 699 published in the Friday (18) edition of Diogrande (Official Gazette of Campo Grande).

Games – The first game of the Brazilian team is scheduled for next Thursday (24th), and will be against Serbia, at 3 pm, Mato Grosso do Sul time. On the 28th, a Monday, Brazil will face Switzerland, at 12h.
