This year, the deadlines for completing the harvesting campaign have shifted due to objective reasons. In the region, the volume of harvested areas has increased markedly. Weather conditions also affected the shift in field work. Despite all the difficulties, the farmers of the Ulyanovsk region adequately coped with the tasks assigned to them. Grain growers have crossed the threshold of two million tons of grain. During the entire existence of the Ulyanovsk region, it was possible to do this only a few times. In 2022, 2.2 million tons of grain were harvested. The region has made a significant contribution to the food security of the country.

Despite all the weather disasters, Ulyanovsk agricultural producers received a high yield – 36.2 centners per hectare. For individual farms, this figure amounted to about 80 centners.

Chairman of the Regional Legislative Assembly of the Ulyanovsk region Valery Malyshev visited the Mainsky district and congratulated the rural workers on the end of the harvesting campaign. In terms of gross grain harvest, the Mainsky district entered the top four in the region. More than 168.5 thousand tons with an average yield of 30 centners is a historical record of local grain growers, it has never been possible to thresh again.

– Thank you for your hard and irreplaceable work, for your significant contribution to the regional grain fund, and most importantly, for the hardworking peasant character! – Valery Malyshev addressed those gathered in the regional Cultural Center.

In his speech, the Chairman of the regional parliament noted the names of distinguished machine operators, milkmaids, and farmers. Particular emphasis was placed on family dynasties.

– Polina Toneeva and Marat Akhmetov continue the work of their fathers in Abramovka, Ramil Musin in the Dubenki farm, Nikolai Volynshchikov’s children and grandchildren in the village of Podlesnoye, Vasily Kozlov’s family in Tagay, Paizula Ashakhanov in the village of Popovka, who far-sightedly took care of that there was someone to develop his large-scale projects. He has eight children, and the older ones, while studying at the Agricultural University, are already helping their father. Such families evoke not only respect, but the Russian village rests on them. And if there is no village, there will be no Russia, – Valery Malyshev noted from the stage.

Having presented the awards of the Legislative Assembly, Valery Malyshev wished that the four seasonal problems of the peasant – winter, spring, summer and autumn – would please the workers with good weather in the field and at home.
