Vienna It has once again occupied the number one position as the best city in the world to live in, according to the report prepared every year by the Intelligence Unit of the British magazine The Economist.

The Austrian capital stole the title from Auckland in New Zealand, which fell to number 34, due to the strict prevention measures it imposed due to the pandemic, the report says.

Vienna had lost its place of privilege last year due to the closure of its museums and restaurants due to covid, but the reopening of cultural and social life returned it to the position it had already achieved in 2018 and 2019.

In second place was Copenhagen (Denmark), in third place Zurich (Switzerland), in fourth and fifth place two Canadian cities: Calgary and Vancouver, respectively.
