The Czech Republic is asking Hungary to check Ukrainian-Hungarian dual citizens

On Thursday, Czech Interior Minister Vít Rakusan called on his Hungarian counterpart, Sándor Pintér, to speed up the verification of the possible Ukrainian-Hungarian dual citizenship of Ukrainian Roma refugees in the Czech Republic.

I asked the Hungarian side to carry out the inspections quickly and consistently within a few days, so that the Czech side could officially find out whether or not the persons concerned had a Hungarian passport.

Rakusan said.

The minister also said that he had drawn the attention of his Hungarian partner to the fact that the Czech Republic was offering Ukrainian refugees with Hungarian passports on its territory to be transported to Hungary by train, MTI reported.
