The suspect of killing several men in Bilbao whom he knew in a network of contacts goes to court

The young Colombian arrested in Irun (Gipuzkoa) on suspicion of having killed several men he knew through a network of contacts has been brought to justice this morning, as confirmed by the Basque Department of Security to Europe Press.

The man, who had been arrested since last Thursday, when he voluntarily presented himself at an Ertzaintza police station, has been transferred after 10:00 a.m. to the Bilbao courts to be placed at the disposal of the duty judge.

The Ertzaintza is currently investigating an alleged case of homicide with “toxicologically accredited evidence”, which is added to two alleged “attempted” homicides and an open investigation in relation to three other deaths that are certified as natural death, according to confirmed yesterday the Basque Minister of Security.
